Why aren't there any "exclusive" "one on one" interviews with IRAQIS?

AS W heads off to another round of controlled audiences and catch phrase banners supposedly to resell the war on Iraq this thought passed through my mind.

Why don't we see any interviews with the Iraqi parliament members or the PM? Wouldn't their "Thank you" "freedom" "the world is better off" "Freedom" go a long way in selling what we did (end justify the means crowd especially)?

Am I missing something? Have there been ANY interviews with the new Iraqi leadership on MSM?

I don't mean to advise the President of the United States and his ever talented spin meisters (how they do what they do in the face of such a ruthless liberal media is simply amazing) but I think middle 'Murka would like to see someone from the liberated nation of Iraq step up and say "Thank you".

I understand that the Green Zone reporters only have a 30 second report to file everyday before they rush back to the bar but couldn't the Iraqis at least be brought to them?
