Tonight, Bush wraps himself the largest American flag he can find.
At Ft. Bragg, NC, the nations largest military installation, and coincidentally, at his lowest point in the polls, Mr Bush wraps himself in the old Red, White, and Blue and goes before the cheering troops to thank them for giving up their lives and families for his lies and deception. No doubt, he will have a supportive audience.

But his target is the bigger audience in America. He hopes to convince them to climb back on his wagon of death and deception. Just a little more time. We are making progress, he will say. At the same time, he will have his fingers crossed that no carbomb goes off as he is speaking.

Through the smirks and bullshit, America will be told to support our troops and our mission or be labeled "unpatriotic". Just a little more time. Iraq will be a beacon of hope and democracy in the Middle East. Because George Bush "believes" it. Do you "believe" it?

1. The audience will be instructed to cheer vigorously for the nosepicker
how ashamed they must be to be "led" by this guy. he went awol. he lied to them about why they were going to war. he's done nothing but increase the threat of terrorism to the united states, making their jobs much harder and more dangerous than ever.

AWOL Bush should resign tonight instead of pretending that everything is peachy keen in iraq. everyone knows he is lying.

8. If the troops don't cheer loudly on cue....
they'll be court-martialed, thrown into the brig, and slapped with a dishonorable discharge for failing to feed Bush's massive ego.

from the budget for veteran's health care and benefits over the next 10 years!

Yup, that's twenty five BILLION dollars he is taking from veterans.

Senators Cannot Meet Iraq War dead - Joe Biden

As Senator of Delaware Mr. Biden is frequently on the base but cannot pay his respects as bodies arrive from Iraq.

http://www.cbsnews.com/htdocs/pdf/face_061905.pdf

Face the Nation CBS News

Conversation between Sen. Joseph Biden and Bob Schieffer / Karen Tumulty(06/19/05)
Sen. BIDEN: I'm a United States senator. Well, let me be very...

SCHIEFFER: They're not letting you on a military base? (Dover Air Force Base – Dover, Delaware)

Sen. BIDEN: I'm allowed in the military base. I'm not allowed to go to the mortuary. I'm not allowed to be there when the flag-draped casket comes in. As a matter of fact, Bob, one family asked me whether I would meet their son who was tragically gunned down, actually car bomb in Iraq. This is several months ago. I said I would be honored to be with them. They wanted me to come with the minister. They wanted me through the whole process. The commander of the base told me that he couldn't allow that to happen and he's a friend--this is not like there's no hostility there; I'm on the base all the time--until he cleared it with the Pentagon. And I'm told the civilian leadership in the Pentagon. So in order for me to literally go in and accompany a mom and a dad and a son to pick up the body of a dead son, a young Marine killed in Iraq, I was not just able to do it as a senior United States senator, former chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee--not like I'm new to this. I had to get specific permission for that specific event. ...It's the civilian decision in the Defense Department that you're not allowed to be there just to show respects.

12. 9/11 ... ... Saddam. Support the troops or you will lose the war for us
that (I think) will be the two main messages tonight. I would suspect that the op/ed astroturf letters will start flying as soon as he gets off the air.

15. * speech before WAR

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/onpolitics/transcripts/bushtext_031703.html

"The terrorist threat to America and the world will be diminished the moment that Saddam Hussein is disarmed." YEAH, I FEEL SAFE

"And all Iraqi military and civilian personnel should listen carefully to this warning: In any conflict, your fate will depend on your actions. Do not destroy oil wells, a source of wealth that belongs to the Iraqi people. Do not obey any command to use weapons of mass destruction against anyone, including the Iraqi people. War crimes will be prosecuted, war criminals will be punished and it will be no defense to say, "I was just following orders." TOO FUNNY!

"We are now acting because the risks of inaction would be far greater. In one year, or five years, the power of Iraq to inflict harm on all free nations would be multiplied many times over. With these capabilities, Saddam Hussein and his terrorist allies could choose the moment of deadly conflict when they are strongest. We choose to meet that threat now where it arises, before it can appear suddenly in our skies and cities." HE SURE SCARED YOU, HUH CONS?

"Unlike Saddam Hussein, we believe the Iraqi people are deserving and capable of human liberty, and when the dictator has departed, they can set an example to all the Middle East of a vital and peaceful and self-governing nation."

(BUT WE WATERBOARD YOUR INNOCENT CITIZENS, AND HUMILIATE THEM WITH OUR FEMALE MILITARY.
