DSM Question:
Why isn't there more outrage from countries like Spain, Poland, Italy etc who took casualties in Iraq and were also lied to?

1. Because there is nothing new
These countries (or at least their people) already knew they were lied to. The memos do not add anything.

2. Yes but now that most of those countries
are out and regret going in in the first place, this would be a golden opportunity to score some points.

3. They do not care to score some points
They want to get their troops out as quickly as possible.

Not believing the governement is a given in most countries. People do not get outraged about things they expect. You only get outraged about the unexpected.

4. 90% of the rest of the world knew * was lying. Remember all those
huge anti-invasion demonstrations? They were outraged 2.5 years ago.

5. We still are outraged today, and even more since we

saw the horrid pictures of the (previously) unthinkable war crimes perpetrated by the U.S. Armed Forces (once considered the best of the best for defending the Rule of the Law). Not anymore, *thanks* to the criminal PNAC gangsters (who hijacked the government of the U.S.A. in 2000, 2002, and 2004 now).

RE: Torture and cold-blooded murders of detainees, many of whom were never given a minimal chance to access a FAIR trial. Those were, are, and will always be absolutely UNACCEPTABLE CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY (punishable by that same Rule of the Law).

The criminality of the neoconservative bandits became instantly obvious then, and for the entire world to see at once. The shock was almost as appalling as the 911 tragedies.

The only way to save justice now is for the honest People of the U.S.A. must do everything they can to make sure all the war criminals at the highest levels of their government are going to be held accountable for each and every one of their crimes, and that by so doing, they will proceed in restoring the good faith of their country in the eyes of the international community.

Go Honest Dems: do it as soon as possible, please!

Are we asking for too much?

:hi:
