As usual, *bush makes no sense. |
|
After spending months trying to persuade the American people that we need to transform social security, Shrub has discovered that they are losing confidence in his ability to stabilize Iraq. He made his pitch on Social Security saying that the system needed to be made sustainable into the future as the baby-boomers retired by allowing investment into the stock market. The problem was, his plan never actually fixed the sustainability problem and would result in lower benefits. Tuesday night,in his speech,He stated that losing was unacceptable, stay the course. Now,we have people such as Joe Biden,John Kerry and Chuck Haggel stating that all the generals are telling them that there just isn't enough troops. We don't even have enough troops to stop the insurgents from coming across the border with Syria. I know of no reason why these people would lie about this. Although he made a sales pitch, the *president never called for more troops. Again, assuming that the situation is winnable, the shrub seems to be orchestrating his own failure.

1. Not the first time he "orchestrated his own failure...Everything he has |
|
ever attempted has been tossed into the dustbin of failure.
There is not ONE thing he has ever done that has not become a failure where he needed to be bailed out by powerful friends,(of his father).
bush is the poster boy for failure. No matter what he touches or meddles with, inevitably, the item/issue falls flat on its face.
BTW, bush never had a 'plan' for overhauling SS, he just tossed the idea out there, and added 'Private Accounts" the the equation. As usual...he had an idea and expected others to fall into line and figure out details. The easiest way to 'fix' SS, is for the Congress Critters to leave the so-called 'surplus' alone. It is so simple it is disgusting.
