the bill is in for the London Bombing, apparently.

JERUSALEM, July 11
Israel will ask the United States for $2.2 billion to pay for its planned withdrawal from the occupied Gaza Strip, one of the largest-ever aid requests by the Jewish state, Israeli political sources said on Monday."

-Wouldn't it be cheaper to just buy it?

meanwhile,

Israel's cabinet on Sunday approved a section of the barrier that would separate 55,000 Palestinian residents of Jerusalem from the city centre. Oy joy, Oh bliss. 4 more years.

1. Tell them

3. Why is this type of aid going to a First World country?
I'm as much of a supporter of Israel as you can find, but hell, do we even given $1 billion combined to all of Africa?

The first is the State Department fact sheet on Africa for 2005

The second is just a good read concerning private donations.
