Question about Abu Ghraib


This image is supposed to be "simulated" electrical torture, but how do we know it's not ACTUAL electrical torture?

2. Under actual current, the human body would be a lot more tense.
Also, your premise is different from what I heard. I read that this photo was of a prisoner who was told to stand on the box for a very long time, and that if he fell off, then the electrical torture would begin.

So it isn't a simulation of electrical torture. It's actual, genuine, bonafide torture.... using a simulated electrical device as the means of compulsion.
