When do you think Fitzgerald will go public with his findings? |
|
A week?
A month?
Six months?
I know we have no definitive information and he's been running a tight organization, but has anyone heard anything? Is anyone's bunion or old football injury or crystal ball giving indications?

3. I think the grand jury |

adjourns in September? October? That's when any indictments would be handed down.
That's why its silly to not protest Roberts.

4. I read somewhere that he wants to finish up by October. |
|
Seems like lots of things happen by/in October! SC justice installed and Bush/Cheney/Rove...OUT! Fingers are crossed! But I certainly won't hold my breath.

5. The Grand Jury will be finished in October -- |
|
-- and I'd be surprised if Fitzgerald went public before that time.

6. We've all heard October. I want to hear what's going to be leaked |

between now and then! You know, just because there is a SC nominee, this Rove baby isn't going away completely! Sure Roberts will take the headlines for a few days or a week, but then it will die until the hearings. They aren't even thinking aoub them until late Aug or early Sept. That's an WHOLE MONTH! Oh, the Rove thing will be back allright, and it just might be hotter than before!

7. Could be anytime before the end of October. |
|
The Grand Jury disbands at the end of Octobor. Indictments will be issued before then, because Fitz won't want to bring a whole new grand jury up to speed.
AFAIK, indictments from a grand jury go out right away, unless they are intentionally sealed for some reason. It would make sense for Fitz to have them put to the jury with enough padding left in their term so that he can issue additional indictments if any new information comes up during a trial -- that is, if he thinks he can get a trial started relatively quickly. But when given a choice between indicting early, and building up a more thorough stack of indictments (and make no mistake, there will be many, many, "counts" in the indictment) he'll choose the latter.
Some speculation I saw in the media by an "insider" of sorts was towards the beginning of next month.

8. Let's Look At It From Fitzgerald's Perspective...... |
|
Let's Blue Sky: What if what he has is potentially very serious and could possibly go all the way up to Cheney and the pResident?
What if it involves possibly "Obstruction of Justice", "Conspiracy" and maybe even "Treason"?
Wouldn't Fitzgerald have to think about the country in general?
Wouldn't he have to think - I can't let this adminstration do something that may have implications that could effect this country for the next 40 to 50 years? If these people did this - I need to stop them before they do even more damage to this country.
Wouldn't he have to pull the trigger sooner before anyone is appointed to the SC?
Shouldn't he be bound by duty to the American people and patriotism and doing the right thing and push the button sooner?
If indictments came down before this or any candidate is confirmed - could a hold be put on the appointment until the country gets back to some semblance of order?
Remember - I'm just 'blue skying' here - but What If?

10. I've gone through the same issues in my own mind ...... |
|
.... and I don't know how to answer. I tried to apply ethics to it. On the one hand, the country as a whole is more important than any one person ... even the president. On the other hand, justice is blind.
I just don't know.

On HARDBALL. And we do know that she is plugged into the beltway establishment.
