Reactionary bloglets are in a panty knotting rage today over Pennsylvania Lt. Governor Catherine Knoll attending the funeral of a Marine killed in Iraq.

I honestly cannot figure out why they'd want to go down this particular road. After all, Lt. Gov. Knoll has now attended at least one more Iraq related military funeral than President Bush.

But then again, these are trying times for Bushies.

And she is a politician, to be sure, but she's also a person who loves her community.
If she gave out her card, it was likely to offer assistance.
Around these parts, everyone goes to funerals of people that they know and/or who have given to the community.
Unless this was a private service or unless she was specifically asked not to be present, she should not be derided for attending. It's perfectly normal.
