Heads up for San Jose, CA folks...DFA summit, Jim Dean and Lofgren

Northern CA DFA Summit

WHEN: Saturday, August 20 - 10:00 am to 5:00 pm

WHERE: SEIU Local 715, 2302 Zanker Road, San Jose, CA 95131

Target audience: The whole day is about Democracy for America & how national & local groups can work together better, & also about changes within DFA, such as moving from meetup.com to our own system. First priority is regional meetup hosts & others deeply involved in the DFA groups, but we also want to expand. No one will be turned away.

ADMISSION: $10-$15, includes lunch

SPECIAL: Congresswoman Zoe Lofgren will address us at lunchtime!

Goals: better coordination between local, state, national DFA groups; set goals, brainstorm how to get there, with emphasis on action plans for our special election this November.
