So when Hackett wins the special election
And we note that:

1. He won in a district controlled by Republicans for three decades
2. He won in a district that gave Bush 64% of their vote in 2004
3. He DARED to call Bush an SOB in said district

Anyone think this might cause other Democrats to grow backbones?

3. Fraudsters are often willing to throw out a crumb as a distraction...
While stealing a whole pie.

Ever heard of a red herring?

Extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof.

7. Something to think about:
From this morning's WaPo:

GOP: "We decided to bury him."

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2005/07/30/AR2005073001092.html

Looks like the Hackett has gotten on the GOP's last good nerve by calling the President a "son-of-a-". They are pretty sure they want to take him down. Interesting that they used the word "bury". (They seem pretty willing to bury most soldiers, don't they?)

So, will they break out the effed-up Diebold's, or what?

8. His district still uses punch cards, so Diebold won't be a factor

9. Well, that's something, at least.
But, there are those "hanging chads". LOL

Let's just keep a good thought for him. He has got to win!
