White House Web Site: McClellan press conference @ 12 PM Eastern
They've been running a half hour to 45 minutes late.

Expect a lot of "The president did what he had to do" crap on Bolton, nothing on Rove, and gushing words of praise over our growing economy and freedom-spreading activities.

And the president "welcoming the opportunity to lose the suit and tie" for a MONTH on the Crawford Pig Farm.

"Watch the Press Briefing LIVE with White House Press Secretary Scott McClellan. Today's Press Briefing is scheduled to begin at 12:00pm."

3. C-Span (1) has it on their schedule for 12 pm.
Figure it will run late - as usual. Snotty Scotty should be getting hives about this time - if the real journalists show up to ask any questions. Obsequious obscurantism at its finest.

Wonder what Snotty Scotty has planned after Chimpy leaves office? Probably will ended up at the RNC main office. That kind of lying will not go to waste.

...but there's still going to be a wait.

It'll happen when it happens. They don't make an effort to be on time.

6. "President first considered a Bolton recess appointment...
...after it became clear that a handful of democrats would continue in partisan delaying tactics"

Democrats "playing politics, blocking an up or down vote"

"A lot of outreach by REPUBLICANS in the senate. Democrats SIMPLY INTERESTED IN PLAYING POLITICS"

8. I couldn't listen anymore...
...I lost count of how many times the little worm said "It became clear that the Democrats were only interested in playing partisan politics."

I'll post the transcript in GDP later, but I can't handle Scotty today.

9. Yeah, how come when he says "A majority of the senate loves
Bolton" they don't say, "you mean the republican majority"

someone is saying "some repukes had reservations about bolton" but snotty is just repeating his majority crapline.

10. These press conferences are becoming less and less about...
..."information," and more about a daily, scripted attack on the Democrats.

I'm not saying that it hasn't always been that way...it's simply a matter of degrees. It's also disgusting.

17. Thank god that's over!
It seemed to me that Scotty was in a really arrogant "I'm not taking any crap from anybody" mood today. Listening to him you would think that everybody, except for a handful of Democrats, loves Bolton. Lies, lies, and more lies. I don't know if I can watch any more of these press briefings-not good for my blood pressure!
