Is CNN fixin' to do a hatchet job on Hackett?
Their promo just mentioned the Ohio race as one in which an Iraq war vet faces an uphill battle because of his views on the war.

3. Meaning supporting war is more important than being a war vet.
Is it really that hard to understand?

5. OK. It was just on.
Not a bad piece. Not a hatchet job. Good clip of an ex-Marine in Ohio who voted for Bush but is having second thoughts.

But it did end with a comment about how Hackett faces "a steep, uphill climb."

15. No
But there was a Republican poll that leaked out a few days ago showing Hackett within the margin of error but still behind.

6. Does poop stink?
Of course CNN wants to sink an iceax into Hackett's back. It's what they do whenever a progressive shows a pair of balls (or ovaries, as the case may be.)

7. What views on the war?
Did they even bother to read his position?

And if yes, what do they object with?

8. It was a good clip. Good publicity
He does face an uphill battle. No doubt about it. However, CNN coverage of Hackett was good.

9. It's uphill for Hackett
Hackett is a long shot in today's election because Ohio's 2nd Conrgressional District is so numbingly GOP they'd elect a chimp for Congress if the beast were on the ballot as a Republican.

Come to think of it, they voted for a chimp for President.

How can they say that when he's now ahead in the polls, unless they're describing what the graph looks like?
