George Bush circumvented the United States Senate today. He spit on the duty of the Senate to advise and consent.

From this day forward, at least 40 Democratic Senators should stand up as a bloc, and filibuster any and every appointment Bush makes from this point on, from John Roberts to the Supreme Court to some party hack for dogcatcher in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Bush has declared war on the Senate, and they should respond in kind.

also I would have to say.that the Democratic Senators should stand together and block everything this GOP congress wants passed...they freaking don't let us get amendments added or to say our say on the bills.the bills are"delayed" hours to get the vote they want.....lets become the party of NO...Say no to No more spending....no more "I want my way" bills....Say NO to the GOP who are trying to destroy this country in 8 years...lets become the party of........ As far as ANY SCOTUS appointment, he should have ANY candidate shot down cold. Nobody makes it through the door.
