What's The Downside To Calling Rs "The Party of Hate?"
It's an honest description, after all.

Where's the downside?

1. There is none, imo.
It implies we are the Party of Love!

I can live with that.

3. None since....
....it is obviously the TRUTH!

I so find it amusing when ANN COULTER, of all people, call the "liberals" the community of hate......

11. Yeah, liberals are the "community of hate"...
We hate being lied to.

We hate the unnecessary deaths of American military personnel.

We hate our jobs going overseas.

We hate our environment being turned into a cesspool.

We hate when our "so called leaders" put party above country.

We hate that we cannot be certain our votes are counted.

We hate that certain companies are getting filthy rich off the blood of our soldiers.

Yeah...we are the community of hate.

4. Or the "Party of War" -- that's what they seem so proud of
Their "record" on defense (cutting soldiers' benefits, attacking unilaterally, spending us into a deficit on weaponry).

Which could make us ... the "Party of Peace"!

6. It makes them intimidating. What about the party of fear?
You can use "party of fear" to describe why they are against Hackett, but never enlist to go to war. You can use it as the reason they are so agressive, they are overly afraid. What say you?

7. Primarily.... It misses the point.

The Republican Party is not the Party of Hate, hate is merely *one* of the tools they use to control their voting blocs. The Republican Party is primarily the party of the economic elite and corporations, but has sided w/ the Christian Right in order to gain/hold power.

It needs to be shown that the Republican Party is all about shifting the wealth of the nation to the economic elite, while throwing scraps to the political factions being manipulated to maintain control.

8. Seems to me that since the sheet, pillowcase and jackboot fit...
today's Republicans so well, they should be made to take their secret garments out of their closets and start wearing them in public.

12. No downside. Party of Hate it is.
Goes well with "hate radio" and "hate speak".
