At what time was it announced they were hand counting?

Just what percentange of Clermont would you have to have in order to get the quasi-final 52%/48%?

1. Before the hand count ...

This is a screen shot I took of a website reporting numbers before the reports of a hand count/humidity problem started. I don't know if it means anything. It is what it is.

OnEdit: The time is when I actually took the screen shot, because someone asked for one. I had loaded the page well before I took the actual shot. All other precincts were 100% reported.

6. Yes and no ...

I've personally experienced a hand count being done on election night. It wasn't anything particularly controversial. Several precincts had power problems due to a thunderstorm, and the people in charge of these things wanted to make sure it was all done right and proper.

What I have not heard of is a hand count requiring anything less than all night to accomplish. You can actually do it in a few hours, but, if you're being careful, check your results.

I note that the channelcincinnati.com site has not given a final result as of 11:32 pm central time. Their election results page is still reporting the numbers where they were at the time the hand count was announced. I don't know if that means anything, but there it is.

I also hear Hackett has conceded, so it's probably a moot point.
