4. They're so used to spreads of a whopping 2%, and call that a mandate.
Now a 4% difference is a "landslide."

Idiots.

10. 4%, huh? How do they always pull through at the very end?
I'm not the Boy Who Cried Fraud, but it is funny how in this race and in November, the good guy was leading by a 2% or so, then there were extraordinary technical factors (terrorists targeting Warren Co.,CNN's numbers "just changed", humidity in Clermont, etc.) then the RepugnantOne candidate wins.

At the very least, the vendor whose machines failed due to humididty ought to refund the county and never get an Ohio contract again.

Why the hell don't real people - bipartisan BOE officers and volunteers - count real ballots (witnessed by observers from out of the county, because not all cheating is top-down)? It would be a civic event! Report results to the world, and everybody can check the SOS's math. If we're so impatient and soooo involved in the mechanisms of politics that we as a polity can't live without real-time election results, then why can we live without streaming video from the Oval office and podcasts of every golf course negotiation of energy policy?

Here endeth the rant.

9. "mandate" Me too.
:)

I DID see them say that, since she was "unfairly" being linked to the Taft corruption stuff, her win was a great Repub victory.
