That sick nugget of filth came from my local hardware store clerk.

3. Those have been the talking points today on MSNBC and NBC
I posted in GD this afternooon. I was furious over Allard on MSNBC and another retired officer, and they were just saying that these parents need to understand this is war, then they can handle it better, we need to get used to it.

Then on our local NBC affiliate tonight at 6:00 they said basically the same thing.

It is cold and heartless.

4. Wasn't that a comment by Rummy a while back?
Back when he was talking in some kind of foreign language and saying we don't know that we don't know what we don't know!

I know I've heard that "we're in a war..." comment before.

5. But this wasn't a 'war' that had to be fought...
...which makes the deaths even more unbearable.

War should always be a last resort. People tend to get pissed off when they know a war was 'optional'.

8. We're not at war (not yet).
We invaded a sovereign nation, a defenseless sovereign nation that had been propped up by the CIA to fight Iran (guess what, the CIA propped up Iran as well) in order to weaken the entire region, in order to grab the oil.

Saddam never threatened the USA. Bush claimed that he could. Not the truth at all.

We will be at war, however, whenever some part(s) of the planet gets utterly sick of BushCo attitude. Bush seems to desire this; it would be a great springboard to extend the psuedopod of tyranny and corporate opportunity. (Look out Africa. You'll go down without a fight.)

How disgusting to recognize that we are indeed the capitalist aggressors those nations have claimed us to be.
