If I create a yahoo group to get this thing off, will you join and assist? It would be DU born and raised.

3. Get more!
A good start! Find more at the grass roots of local and state people.
Their names or money pockets don't have to be huge, but the best and most liked! I've worked for tough, but respected, employers that would make a better president than this nation has had for a couple of decades! I also have known some people who were never educated jurists that would put several on the supreme court to shame on "honest and fair".

9. Draft Hackett for US Senate
I hope everyone is not too disenchanted with Hackett's loss. This is a true wake up call to this area of the state-maybe state wide. We have to keep the momentum going. Remember what happened in the Ukraine. People stood up for what they wanted and what they knew was right. Kept standing and speaking up in every adversity. That was on a huge scale-ours is not so big- but the implecations are the same. This rightwing takeover has finally, I think, peaked. Ohio is ripe for change. I would be glad to help in any way I could. WEAR ORANGE!!

12. Let's wait for a poll
I'm sure one will be taken. But I storngly believe he should take on Schmidt in a re-match next year. DeWine is very weak...If Springer or Brown were to jump in...eh..lets just look at the polls before we jump these things.

14. Would you post this also in GD?
Dewine's seat is up for grabs in '06. Is the DNC backing anyone for this run? If so, would they be willing to back up and throw their weight behind Hackett?

I like the idea, but it has to pick up steam pretty fast!

18. I'm in for supporting a draft movement for Hackett
It's time for a majpr change and Hackett just proved it. I'm sure there are alot of people in Ohio who wishes they had voted for Hackett after the report of the 14 additonal Marines were killed in Iraq. Bless there souls and Hackett's too, it has to be tough to see your fellow service men and women fall, whether you believe in the war or not.

20. I think Dewine would be a much stronger opponent than Schmidt
The 'pukes would have much time to prepare and start dumping money into Ohio.

21. But Ohio
Is also much bluer than that district. In any other Ohio district Hackett probably would've cruised to a victory
