Bush: "Power is being the President"
Drunk with power

by M. Kane Jeeves (sometimes credited as Ed Naha), 8/3/2005

http://mkanejeeves.com/?p=137

At a gathering of Texas reporters with our bogus broncobuster -in-chief last Monday, there arose a rather telling exchange between Bush and one of his inquisitors regarding Bush’s flat-lining poll standings. After Bush dismissed the polls, the reporter parried with:

REPORTER: But power is perception.

BUSH: Power is being the President.

Years ago, back in New Jersey, we followers of socio-political theater had a very intellectual term for people who espoused such beliefs. We referred to them as “arrogant pricks.” (Based on the ancient Latin term: “Gasbaggingus dickus maximus.”) It’s no wonder that, as Americans find themselves reeling under Bush’s smirkiness, the populace finds itself with a case of cerebral freezer burn.

2. just think about when he isn't president any longer
he will come spinning down to earth when he finds out that he can no longer clap his hands and somebody will come running for his every command.

5. Power without wisdom is disasterous
And when it's used without concern for consequnces, it's tyranny.
