BUSH AND CHENEY INDICTED

A Chicago grand jury has indicted the President and Vice-President of the United States along with multiple high officials in the Bush administration

Chicago -- August 2, 2005 -- TomFlocco.com -- U.S. federal prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald's Chicago grand jury has issued perjury and obstruction of justice indictments to the following members of the Bush Administration: President George W. Bush, Vice-President Richard Cheney, Bush Chief of Staff Andrew Card, Cheney Chief of Staff I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby, Attorney General Alberto Gonzalez, former Attorney General John Ashcroft, imprisoned New York Times reporter Judith Miller and former Senior Cheney advisor Mary Matalin.

There were no indications given as to whether the President and his top staff members would appear publicly before cameras at the grand jury proceedings, given the gravity of the charges.

and on the same day Skolnick confirmed the story

http://www.rumormillnews.com/cgi-bin/forum.cgi?noframes;read=76042

"Tom, my opinion is that your story is going to force this thing out in the open. The monopoly press is going to have to deal with SOME aspect of this."

from interview available at:
http://www.cloakanddagger.de/

Skolnick: The point is that the basic story about what the grand jury is doing, and your story is correct. And the way... the mass media will try to wiggle out of it, but in order to maintain SOME credibility they may nibble at the edges of it. I think you already know that, you already said that the current issue of Newsweek is raising questions about Powell and .

Flocco: Yeah, yeah.

Skolnick: Why do you suppose they're raising it if not because of this?

Flocco: Yeah, because we've already... it's already been out there... I've had it out there for 7, 8 days, you guys have had it out there, I mean it's been out there, come on.

2. Was this a secret indictment?
I was under the impression that indictments were public news and published in legal gazetteers.

3. Uh, how many times has this thing been debunked?
News flash: Bush isn't going to be indicted any time soon, if ever. If it happens, I will eat my hat. This has been debunked a million times this week, but I guess it doesn't stop people from posting it anyway.

7. Wasn't it yesterday that Ellsberg had an article about how
leaks are rampant in Washington, but some stay within the 'in' people.

I have to find time to read him.

Anyway, we have:

No Rove. No Bolton. But, we have Matalin. Let's see her dismiss this with one of her side-winder looks.

That's what you get when you join a 'let's have a war' party.

I'm thrilled that it includes Gonzales and Ashcroft.

If Ashcroft recused himself, why not Gonzales.

Where are the others?

11. Your FIRST clue: "CHICAGO" grand jury!
The grand jury investigating the CIA leak is in WASHINGTON DC - NOT Chicago. That was all I needed to know it was a hoax - come on, people!

13. The phrase "Skolnick confirmed the story" gave me a laugh
Who else confirmed the story? Daffy Duck?

(Sherman Skolnick has been peddling this kind of thing for *decades.*)
