The accurate information there is simply a regurgitation of the dates of different historical events. When the author starts giving his opinion, it's standard-issue Biblical apocalyptism.

Sure, he has a lot of anti-Bush stuff there, but it's still part of the continuum of the right-wing conspiratorial movement.

As to the Protocols, I have studied them in depth, and had even planned a paper or book on how the document guided American conservative rhetoric in the last century. I've since shelved the idea (my potential collaborator has too many other obligations, and I am not affiliated with a university, which hurts my ability to do research), but I assure you, the Protocols is the single most effective hoax ever perpetrated.

I don't doubt your sincerity in uncovering the truth of what's happening at this point in history. You just happened to step into a big old honkin' cow patty this time, that's all.

8. Let's ALL of us keep this in mind

It is VERY easy to get bamboozled. Even the best of us can be "taken".

The smarter the seeker, the bigger the sucker.

I don't hold it against Jojo. His motivation is admirable. But it takes several years -- and several embarrassing bamboozlements -- to get one's bearings in the field of historical research. It is not an easy discipline to follow.

The Protocols is a masterpiece of deceit, absolutely brilliant, even when you know it's just an ugly work of Jew-baiting. Works of far lesser impact have infected the intellectual lives of most of us, and if we're honest about it, we've all been sadder but wiser from time to time.

Tenacity, honesty and humility are required in truth-seeking. Let us be vigilant to the perils of the search.
