"Intelligent Design" backers just might not...
enter Heaven.

Since ID carefully strips out references to "god" or the "Lord" and since ID is merely "Creationism" under a new banner and a sneakier way to push the Christian agenda well...

I do believe that not being straight forward with motives has consequences, according to their Lord:

Matthew 10:32-33 : Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.

Luke 12:8-9 : Also I say unto you, Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God: But he that denieth me before men shall be denied before the angels of God.

Live by the Bible and die by it.
I think we need to hammer this point.

1. There are verses that damn to Hell those who demand "proof"
I'm trying to find it, but "the" bible also damns to Hell those who believe in gawd because they see "proof" of his existence in his works.

In other words, if you believe in gawd because it's the only way you can explain why birds don't drown in the sea and fish don't fall out of trees, then you're soul is damned.

I think it might be in The Book of Solomon (part of the Apocrypha).

But I think it's somewhere in one of the standard King James-ish versions as well.

Interestingly, it's contradicted (contradictions in "the" bible?) by something in Leviticus.
