Have the republicans been talking about Al Gore?
I've been hearing the rumors and watching Gore lately. I would love for him to run again. I was proud to cast my first ever vote for John Kerry. If it can't be proven that Kerry is the rightful president then I'd love to have Al Gore. Gore is a brilliant guy and I think he could do so much for this country. I believe if Gore was the president in 2001, as he should have been, that 9/11 would've never happened. Clinton and Gore were working on terrorism since BinLaden first attacked in the early 90's the US ship. He would've closed the boarders successfully and that would've boomed the economy even greater because of more jobs being created and more coming into the economy with money. I was wondering if anyone has heard republicans talking about a possible Gore return and what they think of him. Thanks in advanced.

1. The blogs have been buzzing about Gore '08
I think Gore would make a GREAT president....but does he want to let himself in for all that shit again? Part of me wants him to run, part of me says he's too good for the crap they'll put him through--he gives back in other ways.

5. With apologies to Laurel and Hardy
cute graphic.

I'm a devoted Kerry person, but I would gladly put down another vote for Gore, this time with my eyes open.

2. Huh?
"since BinLaden first attacked in the early 90's the US ship"

Only ship I know of that was attacked was the USS Cole, and that wasn't in the nineties, that happened in 2000. Was there an earlier one? 99.9% sure there wasn't, but I don't consider myself infallible...

Also, from what I've read most Republicans have come to consider Al Gore a big joke in the last 5 years. When he had a beard and was given speeches they were portraying him as ranting and raving lunatic. And the jokes didn't stop for a long time when he talked about global warming in NY when it was freezing.

I'm not sure about the general public. Gore's latest appearance on the Tonight Show with Leno might've raised a lot of "He's not dead...!?" questions... :)

3. I thought there was a navy ship that was attacked by BinLaden
in the early nineties? Maybe I'm mixing up my timeline or something. I know BinLaden attacked the US embassy in Africa and then Clinton attacked back. Wasn't that place an aspirin factory? I think if Gore does run again and he decides that he will surprise people. Especially the republicans because a lot of them probably still remember the Gore from 2000.

4. Yeah
They thought it was making chemical weapons, but it was an aspirin factory.

I think Gore's biggest problem is getting the nomination, there might be some Democrats with a "you had your chance, step aside" mentality.
