How disappointed will you be if no indictment of Rove comes from the
special prosecutor?

The headline today has Scooter meeting with Judy before the Novak column. And the beat keeps on beating .....

But how disappointed will you be if Scooter's the highest one to get the nab? Or if there are indictments aplenty, but none go higher than Libby? Or all are for lower 'no-names'?

I'll be very disppointed.

I want to see Rove **at a minimum** get indicted. I want this to go right to the Oval Office ... and if not the squatter himself, at least his high insiders.

6. Just where is all that crude going to? Why were the troops ordered
to guard the oil drilling sites above the museum of the creation of mankind itself? Why were the Marines told to take off all the gages that measure how much is being removed?

Didn't the Time Magazine Reporter say that it was Rove, the paperwork Time turned over to the grand Jury proved it was Rove, and everyone thinks Novak squealed "Rove" like a little girl as soon as the grand jury started the investigation? (He claims he didn't, but who knows the truth). We'll never know the truth.

I will be surprised if ANYONE will be punished for this. Remember, the more you screw up with this administration, the better chance you have of getting a promotion, a congressional medal (after losing 9-Billion dollars).

Everything is bass ackwards with this bunch.

3. Something in my gut tells me
their gonna nab Rove -and maybe Cheney too.
I think that's why Fitzgerald has been so secretive.
I think that's also why the Repub attack machine is greasing up to go after Fitzgerald.

5. When it touches Libby
It will grab Rove by the not-nuts.

And he has such a nice shiny head. tsk tsk
(I am not bald prejudiced. Just in this case.)

It's going downtown James Brown. No doubt about it.

Mushroom cloud. Huge stink-bomb coming from the oval office.

9. I want Smirk and Dickless to be named unindicted coconspirators ...
Edited on Sun Aug-07-05 12:44 AM by TahitiNut
... and at least eight indictments for crimes, including conspiracy. I want the massive fraud laid out and articles of impeachment that lead to removal from office, indictments, trials, convictions, and imprisonments for 20 years to life for Smirk, Dickless, RUmsfeld, Rice, Powell, Feith, Wolfowitz, Perle, Bolton, Ashcroft, and Gonzales at a minimum.

Nothing less will do.

10. Are there words to convey?
I know my vocabulary won't have many to describe how I feel...buttttt....I hold out hope that it will go to the very top..every one of these individuals knew this was a forbidden subject...not to be discussed, even among themselves...but then...when have they paid attention to the letter of the law?

Something is seriously wrong, when a bunch of people can force all the crap onto others the way this group does...and continue to get away with it...I say, every camel has a straw, that finally breaks it's back...let's let it be this one...that gets them all...but I certainly hope Fitzgerald is watching his back...because IF they replace his boss...and he gets taken off the case...the only way, they can be sure he won't spill the beans anyway....would be to silence him permanently....and with this group...it seems anything is possible...

14. I've read all that .... but I still have some faith
This train left the station long ago. Unless they do as Nixon did with Archie Cox, there's little they can actually do if Fitzgerald stays true to form.

16. I won't be disappointed at all
Bush can lie us into an unwinnable, unnecessary, illegal war and get away with it.

Cheney can tell a United States Senator to go fuck himself right on the Senate floor and get away with it.

Rove can gin up a letter about Bush's being AWOL from the National Guard, pass it around to the press (three days after passing it to a right-wing blogger for analysis and preparation of a debunking which goes hot on the web two minutes after the MSM publicizes the letter), and not only get away with it but gain sympathy for his client.

Rush Limbaugh can do all the illegal drug deals he wants and get away with it.

Republicans are completely untouchable. I know that now. So I won't be disappointed if Rove not only walks away from this one unscathed but gets a nice fat raise and a Cabinet post.

I'll be exceptionally happy if Limbaugh, Rove, Libby, Rice, Rumsfeld, Powell, Ashcroft, Cheney and Bush all get indicted, convicted and locked up for life in cells so small they'll have to be hung on pegs every night at 10pm, but I won't be disappointed if not one indictment is issued in this. I know these fuckers now. Reagan's Teflon was nothing compared to Bush's.
