CODE PINKS calls for hunger strike in solidarity with Cindy Sheehan

members to have a hunger strike until George Bush has an honest meeting with Cindy. Cindy's sister Dede has joined that hunger strike. Please keep Cindy and all of our folks in prayer. This is stand for the honor and memory of our kids and the soul of our nation.

I don't know what to do. I want to drive down there (1800 miles for me) and kick the secret service's ass... but that won't help and I don't think a hunger strike will either. We are too spread out. I hear Cindy though that we need to come together somehow.

Bush really doesn't care. And people would have to start dropping dead for MSM to cover it.

I hate to say this, but this is almost like drinking poison and expecting the enemy to die from it. They don't give a damn if we starve ourselves! Why don't we starve their bank accounts somehow? A shopping strike? or gas strike?

9. I am considering joining

I can think of nothing else to do to but to provide at least spiritual support. I listened to Medea Benjamin speak at Speak-out at STRATCOM (Strategic Air Command) in Bellevue, Nebraska yesterday. She is so committed. I am such a slacker. This is one way of raising the consciousness of the "bubble people" who think this war is lovely and that there will be no blow back. I am sad and frustrated and know not what else to do.
