the guy wore a pin striped suite with alligator cowboy boots. He looked like a drugstore cowboy - mafia hitman. Anyone who dresses like that is "special".

I remember an interview Imus did with the son of a bitch in 2003 where he said that Iraq could receive SOME of the oil revenues. I nearly crashed my car. His disturbing fanatical view of religion is bothersome too. Right wing religious zealouts in all forms are not to be trusted (that includes Jewish and Muslim fanatics).

10. The FCA is the back door way to get the bible and

creationism into public school. I used to teach at a HS in souther WV. The FCA was the biggest lobby there and uled the school, even influencing policy. It was utterly rediculous and unconstitutional, but when the demographic is almost entirely white and Chrisitian that is what goes. Not to mention a bevy of fundy teachers, spewing their testimony and GOP talking points. I would say that on a given day 25% of students were wearing a christian t shirt, be FCA or not. Glad I am back up North.

George Allen was a Nixon favorite, and once even ran a play in a Super Bowl that Tricky Dick suggested (it lost 24 yards)...

While preparing for one Super Bowl, he suddenly got the brainstorm that if his nose tackle yanked or slapped the ball out of the center's hand as the ball was being snapped, it ought to be a fumble. He checked with the league office, who told him, no, that's not allowed. Nonetheless, on the first play of the Super Bowl, he had his nose tackle slap the ball out of the center's hand, just in case.

In 1990, Long Beach State hired him to be their football coach...by bending recruiting rules, initimidating officials, and generally cheating, he managed to get the tiny school to a winning season. After the last game of the season, happy players dumped Gatorade on his head...and he caught pneumonia and died.
