Good Letter to the Long Beach Press Telegray: No conscience
No conscience

On his radio show Aug. 2, Rush Limbaugh told his audience that Paul Hackett, the former Marine major running for Congress in Ohio against a Republican, was just a "staff flunky' because he served in Iraq as a civilian liaison officer.

I did not support the Bush administration decision to go to war in Iraq, but I wholeheartedly support every man and woman who serves there and give them much credit for their service to their country.

How can Rush Limbaugh, a man who avoided serving in the military during the Vietnam war, be so audacious in his efforts to discredit Paul Hackett? If Limbaugh has any conscience at all, he hasn't listened to it in years.
