What is the Freepism behind changing the Voting Rights Act?
I mean why do they say they want it done? Why haven't they been smashed in the head (that was symbolism not a literal call for violence, don't deport me)?

1. Correct me if I'm wrong..
But I think the idea is that for minorities to achieve real equality, we need to eliminate legislation that singles them out.

Sounds nice, but it's just an excuse to make the way clear for open discrimination.

3. We've already got that here in AZ. Proposition 202, approved in November,
includes among other things, a "requirement" that positive ID be presented at the polling place.

Not such a bad idea, most say, but guess where it will be enforced? Not in my neighborhood, I'm fairly certain, but down in south Phoenix and the rural farming communities, I suspect so.
