Right Wing Tucker Carlson's "The Situation": His BEST VENUE YET.
I've never liked Carlson necessarily, but "The Situation" was a blossoming for him, particulary because of Rachel Maddow and a bevy of smart and articulate guests, often liberal, but also because of his personality and sense of humor.

Predictably, it's being nudged off-air.

I like that show a lot. I love Rachel Maddow. I think she is very articulate and makes excellent arguments. Did you see her when she went up against that blonde from MSNBC, who does that show with Ron Reagan? (Her name escapes me.) I cannot stand her.

Monica Crowley is her name. Ewwwwwwwwwwwww.

2. Oh, he still SUCKS incredibly. Nothing but RW talking points
and his opinions to counter facts and figures. He's actually achieved a few lows on his new show in the brow beating guests department.

He'll be gone by the end of August...Sept at the latest.

3. I can understand why some people get shows
even if I don't like them. But Tucker just doesn't interest me at all, even the debates aren't interesting. He got moved to a really crappy time slow (like 11:30 or something) and they just had a big commercial about it like it was the greatest thing to happen to the show. It was pretty easy to see through.

4. Agreed . . . there's a strong odor of . . .

Reasonableness about the issues and how they're handled (conservative, but not what passes for "conservatism" among the freeper crowd, i.e., absolutely batshit crazy). RW talking points, to be sure, but "kinder, gentler" talking points.

He seems to know he's a television personality and not a political expert, and with no one on the show who disagrees with him, doesn't spend much time grinding axes.

So it's being cancelled, eh? Will they give the slot to Novak (presuming he's not under indictment)?
