Democrats vs. Bullies....long overdue.
Paul Hackett does more damage to Republican talking points in two sentences than many party leaders have done in four years. He just gathers up the truth and hacks through rightwing BS like it was a little cream puff. Wes Clark has the same talent. His words drill through "They hate us for our freedom" like it was a bogus commercial for losing fifty pounds in seven days. Now it`s Cindy Sheehan`s turn to tell it like it is....right in Bush`s backyard.

We`ve let Bush hide behind Karl Rove`s skirt long enough. If Republican handlers genuinely believed in George Bush`s ability to stand on his own and lead, they wouldn`t have to cleanse every "town hall meeting" of opposing voices and wouldn`t have to pepper every lectern with Post-It Note talking points. They`ve insulated Bush for a reason....there`s no there there, in spite of his Rambo blusterings and John Wayne swagger.

Corporate media may be proud of their fancy Iraq War graphics and contests they`ve set up between moral red staters and Godless blue staters, but watch what happens when they`re confronted by a backboned Democrat. Makes their little fad flag pin spin.

A quick check of Bush`s poll numbers suggests there`s trouble in paradise that even Nixonian-style dirty tricks can`t cure. Amazing what happens when a bully comes face to face with real courage. Democrats should turn up the heat.

2. Couldn't...
.... have said it better myself :)

If the Dem party doesn't learn something from Hackett's example, we are doomed.
