Cindy to Bush's goons: "I may be a grieving mother but I'm not stupid"
On Saturday, National Security Advisor Steven Hadley and Deputy White House Chief of Staff Joe Hagin met her outside the ranch, listening to mothers’ concerns for about 45 minutes. Sheehan says she was disappointed.

"First of all, I didn't know who they were," she remarks. "They came out and introduced themselves and we talked, and I guess I was supposed to be very impressed and very intimidated."

"I told them, I don't want to be lied to, I want to meet with the president—that's an oxymoron—and I thanked them for coming out," she adds.

"At one point they said that George believes there are weapons of mass destruction," she continues, "and they said something else to me, and I said, I may be a grieving mother but I'm not stupid. I don't believe you even believe what you’re saying."

2. How long is it going to take for us to plant those WMDs in Iraq anyway?
We have had since BEFORE 9/11. Were the weapons we planted or gave to our spies inside stolen by or turned over to the insurgents?

3. I love the way she calls him "George"
Actually, that's really polite of her, since he didn't even know her name or Casey's name, and condescendingly kept calling her "Mom", during their initial meeting.

And RIP Peter Jennings, who referred to the * as "Mr. Bush" through his residency.

6. Are you SURE about that?
Peter Jennings, who referred to the * as "Mr. Bush" through his residency.

I ask because altho I liked him, and am heartbroken about his death, I lost respect for him precisely BECAUSE he was a little too pro-Bush for my taste, and I don't recall ever noting that he didn't use the term "President" in conjunction with Bush.

4. Scare Tactics.
They are going to try every scare tactic on Cindy that they can come up with, and when she gets arrested the press will downplay it in every way possible, even making her look like the bad guy, instead of Jr. The Monkey.

9. Media whores, are your consciences pricked?
A grieving mother says out loud, right to the faces of the criminal Bush's henchmen, what you're all thinking and what you all know to be true: Even the administration spokespersons don't believe what they're saying.

Although in all fairness, I suppose Cindy Sheehan was never in any danger of being invited to the chi-chi DC parties, so it's not like she was risking a gala evening with all the swells.

8. he "believes there are weapons of mass destruction"...guess he's the
only one. The people on the ground there sure don't...:(

The delusional nature of this individual is precisely why we are in a pickle. bush refuses to see ant fact as a fact, unless it supports some asinine thing he wants to believe in. He is the a perfect example of a non-thinking misanthrope.

I cannot believe that bush has any support, even with the GOP Rabid Right; even they can accept facts easier than this cretin.

God knows, that is the WORST attribute in a grieving parent. NOTHING worse than a clip-slopping grieving parent.

and threw it to his dog, to be tortured to death, saying, "I like to give Barney the first fish I catch, heh heh," as the fish flops on the boat bottom and the dog chases it around the boat!

What a deplorable man!
