"Worst President Ever."
That's what's in store for him. Well-deserved, too.
He is destroying our country.

6. I've got to agree with "Worst President Ever"... |
|
I'm so tired of apologizing for the Big Dog's blow job...
LOOK at what life was like under Clinton. Jobs, HOPE...
You're SO RIGHT...that title IS "Well-deserved"...and he IS "destroying our country."
THAT was my intention behind "Fuck the fantasies," and you've really hit on the truth.
I SALUTE you.

9. History will not be kind to the little Napoleon |
|
His name will go down as the one responsible for the death of the American republic. Even more tragically, I truly believe his name will be recorded in that unfortunate pantheon with Hitler and Stalin, NOT because he is some kind of Nazi (he wouldn't have lasted ten minutes with Goering and Himmler -- they would have had thrown his sorry ass in a concentration camp), but because his willful ignorance and kowtowing to American industry finally pushed this sorry world past the tipping point of global warming. Future generations will regard his name as a curse, responsible for the death of billions, as they wander noxious streets in enviromental suits, praying for whatever god is out there to either come to their rescue, or, more likely, put a final end to their suffering.
Whew! Was that a rant or what?

10. Not 'Worst President Ever'... |
|
...'Last President Ever' -- at least under this Republic.
The French were compelled by their Algerian experience to change their Constitution, resulting in the end of the French Fourth Republic and the creation of the French Fifth Republic.
That's the sort of damage Algeria did to them.
Well, we're going through the same thing.
Whether we can pull it off without tanks in front of our National Legislature remains to be seen.
Go read Alistair Horne's A Savage War of Peace.

He will never be held accountable for the horrors he has visted upon the world and the un-wealthy people of this country.
There are millions of people in the United States who are dumber than he is. And THAT is what is wrong with this country.
His base is comprised of scared stupid animals who can manage not much else besides finding their way to the polling place and then stopping by their fundy church for their weekly injection of thought control.

21. That's been my prediction... |
|
...in the real world, sometimes evil wins.
A drunken, coke-snorting frat boy from Connecticut can become the President of the United States. He can avoid Viet Nam, become a chickenhawk, and send thousands to their deaths.
He can go A.W.O.L. and get away with it.
He can make obscene profits for his daddy and Uncle Dick by doing so.
He can lie about the reasons for going to war.
He can screw the middle class.
He can hide behind his "God" while being one of the most Godless men in history.

23. Bush & the republicans will compromise just to get their foot in the door. |
|
Edited on Thu Aug-11-05 09:39 PM by LaPera
And that's all they want, and will need a small opening to eventually destroy the program they've hated for seventy years...Social Security!
Don't let anyone tell you Social Security privatization is a dead deal...the republicans despise and have wanted to destroy SS for seventy years...This is their best chance...And once they have their foot in the door... It WILL slowly be destroyed as it has in so many countries in the world. The banks and corporations will get that money they've been absolutely drooling over for years.
Bush will come out of his hole in Crawford to pursue Social Security Privatization...AGAIN! They are not going to give up, the banks & investment firms. (with their huge republican donations) want & demand it, and it will also help change the daily news dialog away from this administrations other massive problems.
Count on it! They will use different tactics, this time, but they are far from giving up.
They will try and coast with another story, while at the same time getting what republicans want...To destroy SS and get their hands on all that money.
That's a major republican goal, they want and desperately need that money to keep things (economy) afloat, as well as for their insatiable greed.
(Remember not one, not one republican voted for Social Security seventy years ago and not one republican now wants to see it work...its socialism to them, they want that tax money, greedy bastards).
And anything short of a major attack on Iran and/or Marshall Law...Its becomes their best move, to keep us (and the media) focused elsewhere, anywhere, while they get their smelly greedy selfish foot in the SS door.
Believe what I'm saying, please!!!

34. Well, looking at some Repuke indicators.... |
|
Edited on Fri Aug-12-05 12:01 AM by johnaries
Let's look at Bill Frist as an indicator, for an example. Now, even though I would never have voted for him and the words "my Senator" will never come out of my mouth even though I live in the State that he is supposed to represent...
I have to admit that Cat-Killer Frist really wasn't "that bad" until Bush convinced him to be Majority Leader.
Seriously, Frist's pet project was the treatment of AIDS in Africa. I don't know how many of you watched Bush's courtship of Frist during that period, but I remember that it basically came down to a deal that Bush would push for AIDS relief in Africa (even though he was previously against helping cure a "sinner's" diesease) if Frist would take the job Majority Leader and whatever else that job entailed...
It was after that deal that Frist gradually went more and more insane...
Now, Frist has publicly given Bush the finger and actually shown that he doesn't remember some of his science classes.
We have all seen other signs of traditional Republicans who have noticed that the ship is sinking and starting jumping overboard. I predict that we will see more and more Repukes distancing themselves from Bushit. I predict that we will see Dems take control in 2006, or at least make enough of a show to scare the hell out of Repukes. After 2006, whether Dems take over or not, Repukes will be frightened enough that the Repuke party will split.
This part may just be wishful thinking, but I can foresee the day when Rush Limpball will be discredited by a Conservative Candidate.
Seriously, it can happen...
