Has anyone talked with Paul Hackett about visiting Camp Casey?
I was just thinking about this - if nothing else, the sound bites would be wonderful!

6. Not that I know of. Be careful, you'll probably get flamed for even ....
suggesting such a thing.

9. That would take "balls"----Notice NO DEMOCRATIC LEADERS
Why is Dean not making an appearance? Is this too far on the Fringe for them?

4. Ed Shultz asked him about it
a few days ago. Hackett said no, he had no plans to go. He didn't want to take the focus off Cindy and said he did not want to appear to be exploiting her.

7. Thanks for that update
I disagree with him, but I can understand his position on the issue.

Perhaps if other ELECTED Dems come forthand visit then maybe he would change his mind.

5. He should only go if he feels solidarity with Cindy Sheehan
When politicians start showing up to try to get face time and capitalize on her cause then it will be over.
I think that is why many of them are wisely staying away.

8. Let's not try and plan this folks.
This is Cindy's gig. I kinda regret that so many big names are horning in on her public expression here.

10. It's kind of a tough call here
One hand calls for respect of her position, while the other realizes that the more "star power" gets involved, the bigger the story becomes, and the more people become aware of it.

I get torn at times myself, but for right now anyway I lean towards the more the merrier part of the equation, as long as this is blessed by Cindy. If she for any reasons wishes it to cease then I stand behind her reasons 1000%.

12. The biggest problem is
all the people coming out of the woodwork posting: "get Cindy to say this", "have Cindy ask this."

This is not an endorsement deal. This is someone's protest of their son's needless death.

13. I agree
The only thing people should be saying is that they support HER.

14. Spot on
Now if we start hearing "This next question is sponsored by" then I may have to rethink a few things. :)
