1. He talks like a kid too though.
So

I try to avoid hearing him talk, but I did hear a snippet of him talking about Cindy Sheehan. It sounded like kindergarten time at the OK corral, and I imagined him with a wittle bandanna and a stick pony. Except woops, doesn't he not ride horses either?

What a cowboy!

i was married to one.

and i still love the little boy i saw in him, but death was too much of a price to pay- especially when i had children who deserved a chance at a future.

He's still out there- somewhere.

7. he is emotionally stunted- a 7yr old
in a 50 something body.

i want to write a cohesive, informative post on it- because i sincerly DO believe the death of his sister Robin and the neglect, and emotional abuse he suffered as a result of his fathers absence, and his mothers mental colapse caused great damage to him.
And instead of seeing his 'issues' as problematic, or signs of something very wrong- arrogance, cruelty, shallowness, sarcasm, narcisistic behaviour- His mother nurtured those qualities in him- And his financial advantages, and political connections never made him have to 'face' the concequences of his behaviour.

THAT, is why he will not meet with Cindy- or admit any 'failings' and clings stubbornly to the most foolish of positions.

He will implode someday- if we all live long enough to witness it.

17. the immaturity shows through quite often
I quite often see a 6-year-old peeking out of the man's eyes. Even at solemn occasions he looks like he is about to burst out laughing. Not that I have it in for people are younger than their calendar years (I work in a university department and some of them are a delight!) -- but most kids attain a certain depth of maturity and thoughtfulness before they reach puberty. Bush doesn't seen to know when to veil that part of his personality, and unfortunately it's not a happy childlike persona, but a mean-spirited bully. He can't seem to resist putting people down when he's in a position of power. Look at the times he's done juvenile things like putting complete strangers in headlocks, or giving silly nicknames to visiting dignitaries. He probably was bouncing up and down with glee when his motorcade zoomed past Cindy Sheehan and the other protesters.

Thread title: The President's Tone And Demeanor Are Telling:

Best guess at a diagnosis in articles I've seen: presenile dementia. It's progressive.

I also suspect him of being a sociopath - totally without compassion or a conscience. His deteriorating mental powers make it harder to conceal. Successful sociopaths are very smooth and slick - they observe people and learn early how to manipulate other people's emotions.

12. Reagan's Alzheimer's didn't magically appear AFTER he left office
His progressive lack of ability to function as a President was concealed from the American public by the people around him. He was a lightweight from the start of his administration, but but the end of it he had degenerated a great deal.

14. It's infinitely worse - the headachy quarterback still has the muscular
coordination to throw the ball and can concentrate to do what he needs to do. A US President has his finger on that red button and is called upon to make many important decisions, some of them life-and-death, every day.

What this demonstrates, as if we didn't know, is that both Regan and Bush II are figureheads for the REAL powers that run this country. In fact, it's convenient to the REAL powers if their puppet not be all that bright or independent.

16. Yes, I think you're right. In "Fahrenheit 9/11" we see Bush Junior being
chosen by the GOP powers. At that time, he was feckless but superficially charming and a good speaker. That's ideal for them - he needs to look good and speak well but say what they want him to. Cheney runs things, but he is so obviously a monster and has so little charisma that he would not be electable. But I think his current badly deteriorated state is NOT helpful to the GOP - they have to work to hide it, and if/when it gets worse, they will have to basically keep him from speaking at all. They're pretty close to that limit already.

TV is the big medium of communication and politics now - and Bush is now so deteriorated that they can't trust him to give REAL press conferences or unscripted, unprompted speeches. And even when they are feeding him the words, he is having trouble saying them.

24. have you seen the "DC 9/11" movie?
They had Timothy Bottoms in the Bush role, but at various times they would substitute actual news footage of Bush. Since they don't resemble each other that closely (in my view anyway), the effect is rather jarring. Particularly at the end, when they sub in Bush's actual speech to Congress. I felt kind of sorry for Bottoms because he's tried for almost 2 hours to build up audience sympathy for the "Dubya" character, and Bush promptly ruins it by smirking up a storm.

You know it's bad when the guy who portrays you on "Comedy Central" comes across as more dignified, compassionate, and capable than you are!

and his social skills make George look like a mentally deficient.

I cannot understand that George who was raised with Parents who entertained heads of state and because of his Father's status had the opportunity to engage with a variety of personalities coming from varied cultures. Yet he is unable to interact with people????

He gives stupid childish nicknames to Heads of States...Pooty Poo???
And he is unable to carry on a professional, literate conversation.

Something is dreadfully wrong with this man and without his Puppet Masters controlling him, one wonders just what he might do.

33. He is really dismal when it comes to interaction, Prolly because of
not reading....

Not too many chips of knowledge in his brain, thus he has to make up for it by intimidation, puffing of the chest, etc.... the proverbial bully tactic...to cover for his mental/intellectual shortcomings.

He is a poor actor trying his best to look macho/smart/and strong.

But he is a weak man in terms of discussion and engagement. Sad the Pubs chose him for this very important position.

Gary Bauer woulda done much better.

27. his emotional iq is where
he fails miserably-

Children mature at different rates, but for many, the narcisistic (the whole world revolves around me) phase is one they struggle to pass through- particularly if there is trauma during those crucial years-

and compassion is essential for sucessful interaction with fellow humans, and particularly for those in leadership/authoritian positions.

He is emotionally bancrupt.- Tears are cheap, and easily contrived- true empathy is expressed in actions, and being open to listen.

34. oh i agree,
completely- and i also believe we ALL are accountable for our actions, no matter 'what' has caused us to respond the way we do.

Using the past as an 'excuse' to nullify the harm we do, is wrong- especially when we are adults. Personally, it just helps me, to 'understand' the reasons behind actions that make no sense to me- it doesn't absolve the doer.

i am completely accountable for all my past mistakes, no matter why i was ...driven is too detached a word... drawn ?? to repeating bad relationships.- And i've come to understand, and deeply regret that it wasn't only 'me' that was being hurt, or effected by my choices.

i am terrorized not by 'them' but by the fact that so many fellow americans are 'lulled' or 'obedient' to this mans insanity.-

Yup, nailed it.

THE RESULT OF 30 TO 40 YEARS OF BRAINWASHING

Spooky shit but there is much evidence supporting the efforts to sway our minds.

Its called Social Engineering..... a Pysopesque effort instituted and implemented...voila....a lolo America....easily swaywed/fooled/conned.

Now, the Capt of the Ship is coming down to the main Gun Deck where Bush, the loose Cannon, is floundering about inflicting much damage.

******************************************************************
Soon, you will see Bush diagnosed will some mysterious shit and removed/retired from office.
This is one of the Pubs way when taking out a Lolo.
Cheney will assume full duties in due time with his shoes up on the Desk in the Oval Office.
