I think it is fun to watch the right try to fight against the movement started by Cindy Sheehan.

Twice I've heard a wing nut on TV say that Iraq is the most publicized war in history which is a complete line of crap. The point they try to make is that the publicity is helping the war effort of the enemy which is just the same thing they said about Vietnam coverage which by the way was the most publicized war in history.

1. None, actually.
Even the most fervent supporters I know have been surprisingly mum lately.

2. Mother is in town and here is what I got

-We just couldn't have done nothing after 9/11 (duh!, not the point)

-You don't understand war

-Sadam, terror, Sadam, terror, Sadam, terror

-The troops are fighting for our freedom

Basically, my mother is a parrot.

7. Give your mother a cracker, and put the cover over the cage.
Sleepy time for Polly.

3. "We owe it to the Iraqis to finish the job"
Widely used group think for Pukes and "Dems" alike. I don't think I can vote for a "dem" who is pro occupation.

4. It's necessary to stabilize (conquer) the Middle East to defeat terror.
"You do not defeat al-Qaida until you stabilize the Middle East, and that's not possible as long as Saddam Hussein is in power."

5. Other than "we cant pull out now" ...none... which suits me fine.
As long as we are arguing over the fact that it is so shitty that we either have to pull out now or suffer and inflict countless more casualties just by being there is a bit further along to getting people to understand that nothing noble happened here, even Udai and Kusai being dead isn't noble in the face of how many more had to suffer for it.

The only noble cause going on is happening in Crawford Texas and it's by the side of the road not on some pig farm chickenhawk ranch for asshats and shrubs.

6. Cheney is rattlin' his saber about Iranian Nukes and how we ought to "be
tactically" prepared--he is one sick SOB who would launch a pre-emptive tactical nuke out of pure spite. The MSM evening news mostly run counter stories to the international inspector's that Iran is primed and ready. Funny, no MSM coverage on Pakistani actions.

Uh, yeah. Once was plenty.

Republi-bots are stupid, ignorant damaged people.
