Anyone notice how it's the RW women attacking Cindy?
Maybe it's a coincidence, but it seems like most of the viciousness and the snide remarks are coming from Republican women commentators -- not just Malkin and Coulter, but the TV talking heads.

It almost seems planned, as if they think women can more easily get away with criticizing a mother.

2. While rotary blogging the other day, this woman
with FLA plates slowed way down and yelled
"Would you rather we fight them here"

Well it's kinda funny how with a southern
accent fight sounds like fart.

I'd rather fart them there than fart them here!
LOL

7. "Would you rather we fight them here"
It's just sad how many people parrot the RWers instead of thinking for themselves.

Do they think if we left Iraq, all the "insurgents" would rush to the U.S? :eyes:

3. Or they feel they have to prove something...
Edited on Sat Aug-13-05 12:58 AM by Vektor
The RW women often get abusive and mouthy because they are so oppressed by the misogyny of the Repukes. They have no voice in the anti-choice, "women as baby-making chattel" party. The only time they can get away with speaking their minds is when they're putting down another woman who also happens to be a Democrat/Liberal/non Bush supporter. They do it because it gives them a false boost to their sagging sense of self-worth. It's sad, really.

8. I remember a group of women in Lousiana who were
called "The Cheerleaders" during the forced integration of schools there. As the little black child showed up , walking into the school, these witches screamed terrible obscenities at the child. People came there to hear and see this.
And many whites enjoyed it immensely. These "ladies" looked like all american Mom. They loved what they did and all the attention they received. It was so disgusting that it made me ashamed to be a human. So yes, there are many cheerleaders left out there. No doubt.

14. That is a very disturbing image.
How can people live with themselves--yelling obscenities and being so intolerant of an innocent child?

Please don't use "witch" as a replacement for "bitch."

Using "witch" as an insult is like using "gay" as an insult.

11. They can't let go of the American myth of benevolence
and really look at history, and how our country's actions have shaped the world.

They still believe the misery in the 3rd world is because the people there are dark and lazy. In their mind, it has nothing to do with us.

16. I honestly think
it has to do with older empires than ours, frankly, though the U.S. has been perpetuating it for several decades now.

Compared to us or the rest of the industrialized world, the third world might be miserable, but we shouldn't forget that much of that was also ours not than many centuries ago. Our affluence is fairly recent, historically speaking.

We're not responsible for a lot of the poverty these people face...we ARE, however, responsible for doing something about it while we can.

19. "We're not responsible for a lot of the poverty .."
Aren't the Western nations, about 20% of the world's population, using something like 80% of its resources?

Also, think of all the "stuff" we buy at a discount from Walmart, for example, that's made all over the world by people paid peanuts to do it all day long.

The exploitation of Africa and Asia was taught to us by our European forefathers, who learned it from previous empire builders, but we've perfected it.

24. People weren't exactly
living in luxury before we came along. In some places toiling in the fields for a noble landlord has been replaced by toiling in a factory for a capitalist fiend...

Asia has plenty of history exploiting itself and various portions of itself. It goes back long before the United States and the empire builders of Europe.

I agree with the fact that we didn't start it For example; English colonialisim is at fault for several things here.

12. The ones that go on and on about being pro-life , so Christian
and religious seem to have so much hatred in their hearts. I don't understand how women that pronounce themselves as standing for such ideals can't understand this woman's quest for love, peace and attempting to save the lives of other's children.

What a bunch of hypocrites!

18. They hate themselves and other women.
They hate the fact they were born female and will disassociate themselves from anything they deem "female." Meanwhile however, they prance about shoving their twisted sexuality and twisted ideas of women-hood in one's face.
If they keep up the anti women crap, they hope against stupid hope no one will notice that they too, are women. That's also how they get approval with the like minded men.

21. I think it is also
threatening to their own value system when a woman does something as brash and in-your-face as Cindy is doing. Women aren't supposed to do things like that. Women are supposed to be cheering on the men, not leading the parade. So they have to viciously attack those women that stray from the ideal.

25. It's absolutely planned...
No elected Republican has a child serving in Iraq, so they can't stand up to a mother who's lost her son in the conflict and take her to task -- it would be political suicide. The best they can do is have women -- none of whom have ever served in combat or lost a child in the service -- make these vicious attacks. Note that Malkin and Coulter have no constituency to answer to.

26. The men know they can't get away with it.
It's the same thing with women's rights. The conservaties use women as their attack dogs, because it somehow seems more acceptable.

Remember ol' Phyllis Schafly?

27. RW Women
The Coulter, Malkin, Cheney, Schafly, RW Women, do not have the ability, talent, skills to climb the career ladder on their own, so they do what they do best, prostitute themselves to their male RW bosses, and with the bosses full support they become the spies within the corporation. When they have proven themselves to the RW male bosses by ratting out fellow employees, they are then allowed into the RW circle of RW power brokers. These women and their fellow whores are then given Organizational titles with a word such as "Family, American, Christian, Mothers," etc., etc. as to give them credibility to the poor and ignorant.

These whores with full support of the media attack the femininists who walked the walk and took the hits that now allows these very same whores the right to sit at the tables.

What mother could be proud of a daughter or granddaughter whoring themselves out like these woman have? They are no different than the common streetwalker. In fact the common streetwalker is more honest in their services. The RW whores may dress in expensive designer clothes, drive expensive cars, and drink the finest wines......but they are still common whores.
