If Iranian intelligence manipulated Bush & co, why doesn't MSM ask ?

Patrick Lang, of US DIA has praised the Iranians for their 'good work' yet Mainstream media refuses to ask Bush why this happened ... just to spare the administration's feelings I guess. They have every right to be embarrassed, yet NO ONE seems to want to ask this OBVIOUS question. Why ?

the administration was able to wait a tad and then get chalabi into the iraqi government, i am wondering what exactly they have going with iran, chalabi, shiite......adn lets not forget the mayor being taken out of baghdad and replaced with shiite.

if they had issue with iran, or shiite rule, why did they place chalabi in iraqi government
