A naiive question: Why doesn't the party make a fuss about voting ?
I know there's a lot going on right now, but I just got done reading part of the Harper magazine article in the elections forum. A "duh" conclusion is that voting needs to be repaired, which we have all known for years. Are too many Dems tied into Diebold and CSS, etc. ?

1. My guess is that we have massive corruption in the form of a corporate duo
poly. Repukes and dino's and just plain ill-informed and/or powerless.

Paper ballots NOW!
Hand counts NOW!

2. fuss about voting...
Some of us are. We are just so disconected. If you want more info I am selling a DVD on ebay about this very subject. It is a DVD of a Topanga Peace Alliance meeting with Bob Fitrakis and Steve Rosenfeld. On June 17, 2005 The Topanga Peace Alliance hosted a town hall meeting in which Bob Fitrakis and Steve Rosenfeld discussed their newly released book Essential Documents. Bob and Steve reveal some of the ways the 2004 presidential election may have been stolen in Ohio. Steve Rosenfeld is a journalist who is currently the senior producer of the Laura Flanders Show on Air America Radio. Bob Fitrakis is a Political Science Professor, Attorney and Editor of the Free Press. (freepress.org)

If you want it go to ebay and type in this “Did George W. Bush Steal Americas 2004 Election” that should get you to that page.

Peace

Steve

4. An honest voting system is hard to rig.
Large turnouts have the same effect.
Job security trumps the public good, see?

All one has to do is put less voting mechines in democratic heavy precents and poof! large turnouts mean nothig. It is well documented now that that is what happend in Ohio.
