Why is there not a FILTER in Place for our Leaders? Esp The Presidency? |
|
We glean our candidates for FireFighters, PoliceForce, Pilots, Truck Drivers, etc etc
We make them pass many examinations and physicals.
We make them study and learn for months on end...some...years even...enduring many intermediate tests and a rugged FINAL test. Then there are interviews before a Board.
Bush had none of this shit, none. The system is rigged to let Doofuses pass through the filter with many holes. WHY is this not addressed?
The MOST IMPORTANT JOB IN THE WORLD has no TEST, no filter, no mechanism to glean Lolos from passing....smacks of a set up if you ask me....

2. There is one. It's called "the electorate." |
|
What we need is intelligence testing for voting rights, but there's that pesky Constitution...

sieve too.
The Constitution should have said....
"The Corporate media shall NOT be given the power to unduly influence voters by having lying, coniving pundits massage press stories for the expressed purpose of direct electorate manipulation.
The Corporate media shall not overtly speculate and repeat politicians names unless those named politicians have announced an intent to seek office.
Corporate media shall not hire polling company, for the express purpose of putting a poll out after 24/7 coverage of subjectively chosen politicians, in order to discuss said polls for more 24/7 Corporate media coverage of same politicians.
Corporate media shall not make up rumors and whispered stories just because they show up on the Drudge report."
There more to this part of the Constitution that we need. The Iraqis will be messed even more than they are now if the forget this part! Believe you me.
Voters ain't that dumb...they just trust the doggone media.

6. I agree and have said this ever since Pat Robertson ran as a |

candidate. If he can run, then a certifiable mental patient can run. I say we need a lie detector test and some choice questions so that we don't ever again elect an insane, egomaniacal "boy" to the highest office in the land. We could sure save ourselves some grief.

8. Why is there no School/training ground for those who seek higher office? |
|
With their grades made Public?
Advanced Leadership 101 thru 388, a 3 year course.
Courses like International diplomacy, environmental issues, Advanced systems for efficiency, etc etc? Why is there no cities planned for using less oil, less energy, and yet, more fun and safety? Are we that dumb that we don't even try.
Why is there no strong effort for international PEACE? A sustainable Planet? International goals for sharing advances on growing new crops, new ways to raise fishes/etc.
Why are we not collaborating to the point of sharing, caring, to help in lessening the world PAIN? Its far cheaper and more fun.
Come, we go have a World Luau, we drink, eat, sing, smile, dance, enjoy, and have a ball.....
