Hate to admit, there is a very slim silver lining for Bush in the W.H. |
|
The delight that Jon Stewart has with reporting about him, imitating him - and then self admonishes himself that his imitation makes the president sound like an idiot...
Reading the list of what the president is doing in his vacation, including "reading" and wondering aloud how did "reading" slipped into the list.
His report of the woman Biro? Piro? who wants to challenge Clinton was priceless. That was the premature death of her campaign.
What would he do if Kerry were in the White House? Yes, would mock his convoluted way of speech but not as funny as reporting on this one.
(sorry, don't flame me but I really laughed on this show)

1. Flame you? I don't even know what you're talking about... |
|
 Jon Stewart isn't on where I live yet so I haven't seen it.
But this "silver lining" for Mister Bush that you're talking about. For WHAT !?!? The only people happy with him are the ultra-rich or the ultra-lame.
Explain where the silver lining comes into the picture.. :wtf:
~Thanks.. (I think :freak: )

2. Sorry that you do not watch the Daily Show on Comedy Central (cable) |
|
eventually someone will post a link for it.
Stewart is at its best when he takes real events - news conferences, press report - and let those dim witted trip on their own words.
And he loved to try to imitate Bush, including his heh heh heh idiotic laugh. And he clearly relishes it. And, as I mentioned

4. The Daily Show was on during the Clinton admin, and they pummeled him |
|
And they were d*mn funny, most of the time. The Daily Show already riffs on Democrats, mostly on how AWOL they are.
Comedy Shows are equal opportunity events - - if a Dem President was in office, Jon Stewart would be riffing on their policies, speech patterns, major political missteps and trivial but embarrassing moments caught on camera. I don't think the Daily Show would s*ck if a Dem was in office.
