Astuteness IN:::: Ignorance/Dumbness....OUT.... W is the best Poster Boy
money can buy for advancing Astuteness by being anti astute. KNOWING WHAT THE HELL IS REALLY GOING DOWN is known as being Astute. Requires some reading/catching up is all...from sources known for the TRUTH.

The Ignorant side of the equation is finding out their Rip Van Winkle slide/slumber from Reality has a HIGH PRICE.

By supporting Bush(A poster boy for DUMBNESS)...they reveal an ignorance/flaw which turns out to be COUNTERPRODUCTIVE in the long run and now, the short run as well.

Slowly, their eyes are opening to view the carnage, the damage, the cost of a Stupid President who makes stupid decisions...and to be fair, follows stupid advice that he knows is stupid.

Ya all want better, do some reading/thinking and become ASTUTE. Its not easy but, believe me, well worth it...especially for our children beyond our years.....

Come, we go look at Bush and Laff.

1. We Need a Whole Culture That Values Intelligence Again
This whole society has to get its own culture back, away from the corporate-broadcast pseudo-culture with its manipulated (and useful for the rich class) exaltation of the stupid, the willfully dumb, and the visual. We need an authentic culture again with varieties of opinion, discussion and perspective, openly and separate from corporations and profit. I can't remember a really popular thinking, reading intellectual since the days of John and Yoko, where it was cool to be smart, and the political world was really at the center of things, and they knew how important it was.

I haven't seen one of those old public service announcements "Know What You're Talking About--Read," since the '70s, I'm sure. I agree with this whole post: we need a return to the common sense of an asshole being an asshole, and a smart, witty reader being a leader, whether referring to politics or not.
