3. It's a personal thing.
Not taking part in the protest is a deeply personal choice that I don't think anyone is qualified to judge.

Grief is something that everyone deals with in their own way.

4. It might be too painful for him, or
he may be a very private person who finds it difficult to become a public figure. Only he knows and that's his decision to make. It's none of my business.

9. Maybe it's my tone... but i'm not saying he should be there -- hey
mourning is a personal thing. Just saying, it would be a cool thing to see as all this unfolds. I have no idea what his deal is and I respect his prvacy.

6. I think I heard somewhere that it had to do with the death of her son..
I kind of suspect they each had their own way of grieving and took separate paths..

10. I don't think it's a matter of trying to stir up trouble. More a matter
idealism.

11. Keep your idealism out of people's private lives
The man lost a son and is getting divorced.

I imagine he has a lot more on his plate right now than making some strangers on the Internet feel good.

13. I'm just tired of every little thing being politicized
It was annoying when people were telling me what actors and movies I should/shouldn't like.

But when people tell someone how to mourn or deal with a divorce based on a political agenda, I feel its crossed a sacred line.

15. I think it was directed at me KC... And it wouldn't be the first time

someone misinterpreted or didn't like what I said -- though I thought it was clear I was just thinking in the context of how tactically, this story could unfold -- momentum-wise/media-wise, which I'm sure is being pondered by many anit-war insiders right now. I was never implying that I was dissappointed in Mr. Sheehan or anything like that. And if someone wants to get snarky.... yawn.
