G. Gordon Liddy = Stupid Xenophobe

On Paula Zahn, G. Gordon Liddy squared off against Arianna Huffington on Cindy Sheehan and the war in Iraq. Near the end of the segment, Arianna said that Bush sounded flippant when he said "I need to get on with my life." Here's a paraphrased version of what followed.

Liddy: Oh, that may seem flippant in a country like Greece, but not the United States.

Huffington: Wow, we're doing ethnic varieties now? It's not just Greek Americans, it's the majority of all Americans which is why Bush's approval is at 42%.

Liddy: That was a gratuitious assertion, and any gratuitious assertion may be denied equally gratuitiously.

Zahn: We gotta leave it there, thank you both.

Comparing his son, who was badly injured (in Gulf I ?)but is still ALIVE to Casey Sheehan who is DEAD was just ridiculous. Then that prick goes on to insult Arianna's ethnicity...

I never thought I'd see Ariana speechless but he definitely shocked her with that statement. She did recover pretty quickly but still...why isn't that guy in jail?
