Dick Cheney and the American Likudniks
Isn't it striking that everybody in the Bush Administration associated with the planning of the attack on Iraq, and the creation of the lies told to lead to that attack, are Jewish intellectuals with close ties to the extreme right-wing Zionists in Israel? Indeed, some, if not all, of these officials hold Israeli passports. If you look at the people surrounding Cheney, and all the people on the civilian side of the Pentagon, the uniformity of origin is amazing. The only people not in this group are Rumsfeld and Cheney. Rumsfeld had his own reasons for the war, as he wanted an easy challenge from a weakened enemy to test his new theories of warfare. Unfortunately for Rumsfeld, all his new theories of warfare have proven to be wrong, but at least he got his laboratory.

And Cheney? What was Cheney's motivation? Leaving aside the big issues of oil and geopolitics, could it just be money? Cheney still receives a salary from Halliburton, has interests in Halliburton's success, and no doubt will be well rewarded by Halliburton when he leaves politics. Halliburton is the subject of what is probably the largest series of military frauds in American history, and still receives a constant feed of new contracts, all without question sent its way by the Vice President himself (see Halliburton share price history chart,as referred to in Cosmic Iguana). I still find it amazing that Cheney continues to skate on this scandal, which should by rights be front-page news in every American newspaper.

Let's say you're Cheney, and you know before you arrive in power that you're going to start an attack on Iraq in order to line your own pockets as a result of the largest financial scandal in American procurement history. How do you go about protecting yourself if everything should go wrong and the American public starts looking for a scapegoat? By picking the people in the Administration on the front line in preparing for the attack from an identifiable scapegoat group. Cheney picked all these Likudnik Jewish intellectuals for the specific reason that when the shit hit the fan the whole thing could be blamed on Israel.

The fact that Israel and its friends were set up to take the blame doesn't take them off the hook. After all, they were given the bait and they all grabbed at it. Every one of them committed the treason required to start a disastrous war for reasons associated only with what they perceived to be the interests of Israel, and the American Likudniks deserve all the blame they are starting to receive. Nevertheless, the real person to blame for this is still Cheney. Cheney set this up in order to start a war to fill his pockets and the pockets of his friends, while providing a tidy alibi when things went sideways.

A real conspiracy theorist might even go back to the origins of all these intellectuals in various right-wing Washington think tanks set up in the last twenty years. Were these think tanks staffed with Zionists by some forward-thinking anti-Semites, who knew that the Zionists would eventually serve their purpose as scapegoats while hurting the Jewish people? Those who claim that pointing out the obvious fact that the war was started for Israel makes you an anti-Semite are playing right into the hands of the wider conspiracy. The dangerous Zionists aren't Jewish. After all, American Jews were probably more against the attack than the average American. The real dangerous Zionists, the ones with real power behind the scenes, are Christian Zionists. The Christian Zionists are the real anti-Semites, despite their current preoccupation with Israel. The Christian Zionists are interested in Israel only because they see its destruction in the apocalypse as a necessary precursor to their rapture, and so foster the positions of the Likudniks as they correctly see such positions as inevitably leading to World War in the Middle East. It could very well be that the seeming victory for Israel in the American attack on Iraq has been set up by real anti-Semites, with Cheney as their (well-paid) agent, intending to frame the Jewish people by playing on the stupidities and weaknesses of the American Jewish Likudniks.

1. You can't blame Uncle Dick for all of this one.
His signature was on the original PNAC documents, as was that of Jeb Bush. So while Chimpy himself was probably oblivious as to the origins of his cabinet, those around him knew damn well what they were doing.

As for the Likudniks (many of them with dual citizenship)they wrote a document for the Likud Netanyahu government in 1995 which could easily be considered the "first draft" of the PNAC agenda.

If you have never seen that document, read here: http://www.israeleconomy.org/strat1.htm

4. Thanks for the link....
Hey AntiCoup, what's with your tagname? I'm 42 y.o. and I can't think of a better time for a US coup. I don't even need to talk about Republicans. But Democrats these days are very disappointing. They're either too wimpy, or too corporately corrupt(DLC). I mean how else do you explain that not one single Dem has taken advantage of the free publicity drummed up by Cindy Sheehan?

6. My name was a reference to the Florida Coup of 2000
And I added the "4" after the last "election" and the obvious Ohio fraud. But I agree with you about the state of this party, especially the Democracy Loathing Cancer.

As far as Cindy Sheehan goes, that's a tough call as far as politicians stepping into that one. If done at all, it should be in a way where the poltician doesn't detract from the cause. And anyone who voted for the war should absolutely stay out of it. Unless they're delivering a personal apology for their part in Casey's death.

2. You are going..
... to catch a lot of crap here for pointing out the obvious.

Some here were ready to dump Cindy Sheehan for stating the obvious.

Oh well, some people would rather just be stupid than to risk being politically incorrect.

5. Well, since "re-framing the argument" is the buzzword of the year....
Edited on Wed Aug-17-05 09:10 AM by AntiCoup2K4
Let's not allow the Likud apologist squad to grab and run with the "anti-semitism" bullshit.

Rather it's a question of the dual citizenship. Should ANYONE who is a dual citizen be allowed to work in such a sensitive position within the US government, particulary those who have an established record of working explicitly FOR another government (see my post above)

Arnold Schwarzenegger is a dual citizen of Austria and the US. Is there a way that he could use his job as Governor of California to benefit Austria in a manner that is clearly a conflict of interest, which could greatly damage the United States of America?

As far as I know, the answer is no. So whatever problems one might have with the Gropenator, that's not one of them. But it's reasonable to ask the question. And if there's ever the appearance that he is favoring Austria, it should be asked again.

The involvement of the Likud/Israeli dual citizens in the US government has compromised the security of the United States in order to benefit Israel. That is something I have a problem with, and if it's not illegal, it damn well should be. In fact, doesn't it fit the very definition of espionage?

Whether those involved are Jewish, Presbytarian, Atheists or Goat Worshippers has nothing to do with it.

8. Arnold and the Mossad
Edited on Wed Aug-17-05 09:52 AM by nascarblue
I totally agree with you. After all, look at the AIPAC spy scandal.Stealing thousands of secret documents and turning them over to Israel? That's espionage and treason. Straight up. Who's involved? Tom DeLay, Pat Roberts, Karl Rove, Grover Norquist, Ralph Reed, and Michael Ledeen and who knows who else. And now, finally, we're finding out there was murder and 9-11 terrorists involved. (Sun Cruz Lines)

How ironic that Daniel Hopsicker reported all of this (and more) months ago. Isn't he supposed to be some whacko conspiracy theorist?

And as far as Arnold goes, any and all Californians should be pissed off. Arnold and the GOP are pulling a Tom DeLay redistricting job on California. The state courts shot down the GOP redistricting plan hard, claiming it was 'unfair' and 'unnecessary'. So it was off the ballot. Even the California state appeals court shot it down just last week. Then just this week, corrupt right-wing federal judges overturned it!It amazes me that this hasn't made the rounds of the mainstream media. After all, all they're doing is hanging out in Aruba and Crawford. It's not like they have anything better to do. Proof once again that the media serves the government and corporations and NOT the people.

I strongly suggest that any doubters read this recent article titled "The War in Iraq: An Intelligence Failure?”> written by Shlomo Brom, a brigadier general in the Israeli army reserves. If you won't believe me, maybe you'll believe an IDF veteran.

also plausible.

Yes, they could have think tanks plotting against other think tanks because it appears their world is one of betrayal. They get kicks out of betraying.

The bottom line I operate from is that I consider every person of every country, culture, and religion my brother and sister on this planet who are to be honored as fellow inhabitors which means honoring their nuances of faith and their basic expectations for staying alive for the joys of life and for their children's joy of life.... not for pain and grief. The problem is always those people who set themselves up as our leaders or who we let lead us who decide to use and abuse us with or without foresight. I say this upfront before I am accused of being an anti-Semite.

It is a strain for me to accept that some people believe that they have an exclusive on heaven and as a result of that exclusivity would allow hate, killing, theft, and betrayal at the highest level of conniving against others to attain that faith which is really all about the destruction of large block of people. It means they don't really believe in goals of peace. They only believe in their goal of destruction.

If that is true, they are capable of conniving to set people up - especially people they once hated and they could find people who would carry it out for them.

But, if the world is going to end as soon as they say, why go to the trouble of creating blame if no one is going to be around to benefit from the deception?

It is madness.

What your write is plausible. A vile possibility.

Everything you say about Cheney is true. Remember how dumb we were when he was selected to find a VP for Bush?

We need to recreate every step of their plan to take us over. We need to dissect it. We need to know what is happening to us. And not allow it. Thanks for posting.

11. Raimondo on the issue...

http://www.antiwar.com/justin/?articleid=6975

From Raimondo today:

"What is particularly loathsome about Hitchens is that his "argument" consists entirely of epithets: to speak of "neocons," he avers, is to speak of a "Jewish cabal." But why is that? Most American Jews are vastly unsympathetic to George W. Bush, his party, and his war. Aside from that, however, is neoconservatism suddenly and inexplicably disappeared, even as one of its leading exponents triumphantly brays that the "neoconservative movement" has succeeded? Sheehan never once used the word "Jew" to describe anyone or anything for the simple reason that "neocon" is not a synonym for a person of the Jewish faith. Hitchens himself is a living example of why this is true. There are others: Jeanne Kirkpatrick, Michael Novak, Victor Davis Hanson, and Bill Bennett, not to mention former Pentagon analyst Larry Franklin, indicted spy for Israel and devout Catholic."

-------------------------------

BTW...why doesnt AAR offer Raimondo a air slot?

are Jooooo-baiting.

Xymphora links to Holocaust-denying hate sites, so I can't say I'm surprised by this.

17. Christians, Moslems, Agnostics are not perfect. Why should Jews
be? There are some among all of us who are not perfect and seem to have no problem in plotting jointly to beneift a few at the expense of the rest of us.
