The worthless, fear-mongering mainstream-media; GOP cheerleaders
Edited on Wed Aug-17-05 09:01 AM by nascarblue
I don't know about most of you, but I do not trust the mainstream media at all. How many times since Bush has been in office have you seen the media cause a shitstorm of fear mongering for weeks only to end up retracting the story a month or year later on page 27 tucked in a corner? Look at just the London bombings and the shooting of that innocent Brazilian. As usual, now that they've passed a bunch of new laws further destroying civil rights and drummed up fear, a real hero in London has leaked the London police's internal reports on the shooting.

The media not only got it wrong, but it looks like they did it on purpose. The internal documents have been leaked prove the media and government lied about everything concerning the incident. The 'bulky jacket', the claim that the CCTV camera was broken, the claim that he 'ran' and 'tripped', etc.

So many people will chastise you and accuse you of "conspiracy theories" simply because Bill O'Reilly and Tucker Carlson aren't spewing their spin on it ad nauseum. But as many of you online truthseekers know, if you do your homework online, you'll discover the real truth behind the official bourgeouis mainstream media view. And the real truth is you cannot trust the media or the government.

1. They can not rule without the fear.
Progress from their point of view.
Find what we fear and exploit it.
Create situations that will make us fearful.
Instill fear in us.
Make each of us fearsome.
When all else fails create a government to be feared.
Look the other way when illegal drugs hit the street.

Gun sales up. Anti anxiety medication sales up. Alcohol sales up. Expand police departments, prisons etc. More military. More weapons of mass destruction. More money to fight fear and more money to create fear.
I don't agree with Michael Moore on alot of things, but on this - he opened my eyes with Bowling for Columbine.

Is there a 'grand' design - I don't know but does it matter? Is there any doubt that something like TurdBlossom finds a way to use everything and everybody.
