Does anyone know the current status on Posada's extradition hearing?

July 31, the California Democratic Party unanimously passed a resolution calling for his extradition to Venezuela. The Patrick Henry Democratic Club and the 69th A.D. committees had sponsored the resolution. The resolution had been slated to be postponed until October but Ted Smith (of the resolutions committee) pulled it for discussion and Placido Salazar (who had worked on Kucinich's Presidential campaign) expressed the urgency of having it voted upon that weekend. The resolutions committee sent it to the floor and it passed (unanimously).

The extradition hearing is apparently taking place in Texas. Has anyone here kept up with the details?
