3. Yes, descendant of President William Howard Taft
Some one interviewed on an NPR show said something about disgracing his ancestor.

from http://news.enquirer.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20050817/NEWS01/308170017

"Taft, 63, a Cincinnati Republican, is a descendant of President William Howard Taft and two U.S. senators."

4. Taft is only a hallowed name
in Ohio to the Repubs. Old Dems, like me, have never viewed this family as anything much different than the BFEE, only on a smaller scale. They have always believed in "pay for play" government. Young Bob ran for gov only because he can't do anything else and guess he can't do that either with his approval ratings at 19% or probably lower today. He is just another "loser" and fits right in with the Shrub.

That judge was right............he owes the good people of Ohio an apology....but not for just the ethics crap that he was charged with. That is only the tip of the proverbial iceberg here in beautiful downtown Columbus, Ohio

:grr: :banghead:
