Why the "Washington Post" has Financial Interest in "Terror Alerts & Bush"
Edited on Sat Aug-20-05 04:43 PM by KoKo01
Washington Post Company owns Kaplan Educational Systems. Here's a link to their ad which popped up after I viewed an article online on their websit. I guess the good thing about this is that when all the good jobs have gone to India we can always enroll in Kaplan, become a "Homeland Security Guard" and take part in Congresses huge jobs program funding "Homeland Security." The future of America...Security.

Just in case anyone thought Washington Post's main business is "Reporting the News." :eyes:

POP UP AD FROM WA PO:
AMERICA'S HOMELAND SECURITY BUDGET Is 36.5 BILLION DOLLARS
WHERE DO YOU THINK TOMORROW's JOBS WILL BE?
KAPLAN UNIVERSITY

With the growing presence of our homeland security, the need for qualified criminal justice and security professionals is greater than ever. Whether you are currently in law enforcement, corrections, or private security, or looking to enter one of these fields, a criminal justice degree or certificate can make all the difference. In a typical 30-year career, the difference between having one or not can add up to several hundred thousand dollars. Kaplan University can give you the knowledge and credentials you need to advance or begin your criminal justice career. We even offer qualified students an opportunity to intern at a top crime lab for hands-on learning.

1. I'll Kick my own post as an example of "Truth to Power."
I have to say I feel sad that my post was so lousy that no one replied. Perhaps my post wasn't clear or was poorly written. I'm trying to figure out why it wasn't a post that anyone cared about as a big "0" with No Replies, at all.

But, what's important to me as that I try in every way I can to bring these "Fascist Bastards Down...and if that means "calling our our MAJOR NEWPAPERS then so be it...they deserve it. :D...There's much joy in being a Contratian..

The Washington Post (via Kaplan) sure has a conflict of interest here.
