You can bet that all Republicans will bring out 9/11 again in '06 and '08 |
|
How will the Democrats respond? Will the American public have grown tired of all the terrorism talk? Is it possible that Democrats can paint themselves as being tougher on terrorism than Republicans are? (Bush has actually done a very poor job in protecting us against another attack, IMHO)

1. well, with the media in his pocket |

We'll have a tough time convincing most of America that Democrats are way better on terror than Republicans. Every time there is a terror attack around the world, Bush gets a bump.
What we really need to do is hammer home a consistent theme, and that is one thing we're not good at...

3. I've got a few predictions. |
|
1. Rampant election fraud. 2. Parallel election efforts smashed by DHS and various stormtroopers. 3. The DLC rolls over. 4. The DNC will get no airtime. 5. Vocal members of the DNC will get Wellstoned. 6. Election integrity activists will get assassinated, too. 7. Media blackout on all the assassination/etc. activity. 8. Media blackout on the election fraud (as usual). 9. 9/11 v2.0 for "propaganda" purposes. 10. War on Iran and/or the SCO. 11. Vast ad hoc expansion of prisons, utilizing bases closed by BRAC. 12. Life sentences (or similar) for those defaulting on debt. 13. Forced labor for prison inmates. 14. Escalating militarization of the police. 15. Criminal prosecution of political activism, dissidence, etc. 16. Censoring of the internet. 17. Prosecution of those running offshore dissident websites. 18. "Snitch" policies to inform on political dissenters. 19. Homeland Offense Gestapo disappearing those snitched upon. 20. Area patrols by the Homeland Offense Gestapo. 21. Vast increases in A/V surveillance. 22. Politically biased "mental health" screening required for employment a la drug screening. 23. Potential political dissidents subjected to "outpatient commitment" and required to take psychiatric drugs and pay for their "treatment." 24. Inpatient commitment for those determined to be particularly "anti-authoritarian" or to question the government too much without actually becoming so "political." 25. Death squads to assassinate people who attempt to organize political opposition.
I could go on, but I'm sure everyone's sick of it and is ready to break out the :tinfoilhat: smear by now.
