Newsweek's CW gives Chimp-monster a down-arrow
Edited on Sun Aug-21-05 07:00 PM by jefferson_dem
"His "9/11 link" pro-war offensive is getting offensive. What he's selling, America ain't buying."

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/9024520/site/newsweek/

File this one in the FWIW folder. It's only the "conventional wisdom"...whateverthefuckthatmeans. However, could the lapdogs in the press corps atually be turning on their boy, finally?

1. The press are whores, and have no loyalty
They tell you what they think you want to hear

They supported Bush when they thought most everyone was on board/

Now they see the polls and realize its time to switch coarse -so as to go with the flow.

fuck the press -they are just as much traitors as Rove.

5. Here is Americablog's take on it
Haven't we seen the term 'tipping point' being used the past week or so? This could be a part of it, along with CNN's Dead Wrong.
It has come late, but better than never.

Newsweek's CW: Bush has gone overboard on 9/11
by Joe in DC - 8/21/2005 06:52:00 PM

Newsweek's snarky, weekly column, "CW," which they tell us is "an informal distillation of the ever-changing thinking of Beltway pundits and the chattering classes." Basically, it's the buzz among the MSM and other DC smarty pants. This week, they give Bush a down arrow noting:
His "9/11 link" pro-war offensive is getting offensive. What he's selling, America ain't buying.
Okay, I won't rant about how the MSM has let Bush use 9/11 as a political tool for almost four years now. I will just say, if the MSM is cluing in that Bush is overplaying the 9/11 references, then he is in trouble. Scary thing for the White House is that they have nothing else...nothing...to justify Iraq, now.
